Treatment may include:
- Manipulation, mobilisation and soft tissue massage
- Ultrasound, electro-magnetic energy, interferential therapy and acupuncture for pain relief and stimulation of healing

It may be necessary to refer you for further investigation e.g. an MRI or ultrasound scan or X-ray, or you may be referred to your GP or a Consultant for a specialist opinion.
