Reflexology
What is Reflexology and how will it help me?
It is estimated that up to 75% of all illness is stress-related. Regular REFLEXOLOGY treatments not only help to reduce stress and tension, but they can also help speed recovery from a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses, aiding the restoration and maintenance of the body’s natural equilibrium. Reflexology helps us to cope on a physical, mental and emotional level thereby encouraging us to heal and maintain health in all areas of our lives.
In REFLEXOLOGY the foot is divided into zones, and pressure is applied to specific points within the zones to promote healing and well-being. It is a complementary therapy which helps to heal the whole person not just the prevailing symptoms. While many people use reflexology as a way of relaxing the mind and body and counteracting stress, at the same time many doctors, consultants and other health care professionals recognise reflexology as a well established and respected therapy which has been shown to be effective for infertility, sleep disorders, hormonal imbalances, digestive disorders, back pain, stress-related conditions and migraine.
