Elaine Atkins
Dr Elaine Atkins started ‘Elaine Atkins Physiotherapy’ in Leytonstone in 1980 and has since established a thriving practice in Woodford Green. Elaine qualified at St Thomas’ Hospital in 1973 and followed a path in specialist
orthopaedics from Edinburgh to South Africa and eventually to north-east London. She has firmly based herself in the local medical community and now, as ‘Elaine Atkins Associates’, she works together with a team of highly qualified chartered physiotherapists, each of whom shares her commitment to practising to the highest professional standards.
Co-author of two best-selling textbooks, ‘Orthopaedic Medicine – a Practical Approach’ and ‘Musculoskeletal Injection Skills’ Elaine lectures extensively in the UK, principally through her links with the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine. She holds a Doctorate in Professional Studies (Orthopaedic Medicine Education) and continues to be committed to her clinical practice with the prime focus of providing the highest standards of patient care and a better practice for all.Elaine Atkins: management@elaineatkins.com
